Unlock the Potential of the Business

 with an ERP Solution

With the increase of large commercial contracts, it became an obstacle for respecting the customer-centric value on what the owner, Jerome Monteiro, built the family business on.

As for the maintenance of its client’s valves, it became challenging for the sales and services departments to obtain the data they required to make significant decisions in a timely manner.

It was obvious to Jerome Monteiro that all of its segregated operations needed a dependable platform that could integrate all the information required to manage the daily operations conforming to high standards in terms of quality and customer service. With his Supply Chain Manager, he hoped to find a software with intuitive features, simple, customisable, scalable, efficient, bug-free, affordable and with a highly secure Cloud hosting solution.

After researching several options, including NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP Business One, he settled on Odoo as the best platform for his company. Odoo had the upper hand because Profluid could pick and select apps to build its own solution and customise its global business eco-system for a competitive price.

"A Friendly and Bug-Free Solution"

"Odoo is very user-friendly and bug-free," remarks Arnaud Couvreur who became the ERP implementation project manager. "On the top, it is not difficult to learn and explore all the functions by just playing around in staging mode or by watching demos published by Odoo and its vibrant community".

"Profluid may also save money on storage and server infrastructure investments by using Odoo Sh. a SaaS platform" notes Jerome Monteiro. More importantly, the Cloud system allows Odoo's real-time updates ensuring that all employees are kept informed. The crews no longer waste time waiting at several checkpoints. The information they need can be accessed by anyone at any office in Perth or Brisbane or at any client's site requiring valving services.

"Odoo is helping the teams to work smarter and faster together in focusing on the customer experience which is the utmost added value of the company" notes Caitlin Filmalter, business coordinator. She also likes the simple way how she could follow and update the customer's orders and the purchase orders to suppliers. The integration with Xero is also a plus but the team is already thinking about more accounting integrations as Odoo permits them. Designing the future of the ERP ecosystem becomes a team's task!

Profluid is pleased to report that all of its business departments and locations are now operating with better agility and efficiency. Information might be accessed on phones through Odoo's mobile-based access. Workers may now check for updates without lugging around their heavy laptops or looking for paperwork instructions. A more intelligent method of managing and monitoring everything is to have a unified view of all the channel operations and the workflow in the workshop.

Quality control is crucial for preserving the company's brand, ensuring valves and accessories' reliability, and fostering consumer trust. "We considered it was crucial to utilise our ERP solution for overseeing the quality of products prior to their inclusion in the inventory, during the selecting process, and upon departure from the warehouse for a delivery order. With Odoo, through the establishment of quality control points, we can implement quality checks that are automatically activated at designated stages of the production process or service delivery", underlines Francesca Scala, the Quality Manager.  In using Odoo, Profluid also has gained a digital traceability of its products and operations which is essential to its high ISO quality standards and certifications.

"A One-in-all Software Ecosystem for all of the Company's Needs"

"Customers are happier and more loyal as a result of the automation and simplification of the company procedures" notes Arnaud Couvreur. "Employees too", insists on, Charmaine Perit, the Odoo developer of the Profluid project.

"We are quite impressed by the results" adds Jerome Monteiro. He also describes Odoo as a real "one-in-all software ecosystem for all of the company's needs". He concludes: "Profluid is well on its way to realising its vision of a prosperous future. Thanks to its customer-centric business model, which is based on the happiness and loyalty of its clients. We can actually see the tangible enterprise value that our Odoo ERP system implementation brings, even though the benefits may appear to be incalculable at first. Thanks to Odoo and OTOOL for helping us to empower our strengths".
