Professional Organisations Should Think About Promoting (And Using) Odoo As Part Of Their Member Services Strategy


Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems form the technological core of the majority of prosperous enterprises in Australia. We, as business owners who have personally encountered ERP implementation, have chosen to impart our knowledge. 

Several months ago, Jerome Monteiro and I have established OTOOL in an effort to provide a alternative solution set for the implementation, development, and maintenance of ERP. 

OTOOL represents a novel alternative to traditional ERP setup solutions, specialising in the implementation of Odoo. OTOOL is an Odoo partner; however, in contrast to our competitors, we utilise Odoo to manage our business operations in Perth, encompassing B2B, B2C, and manufacturing sectors. 

My name is Arnaud. I am co-founder of OTOOL. I have fifteen years of experience working in Paris for and with professional organisations (UNIPAS, UNIDIS, MEDEF, GFI, UMIH), and I have the utmost faith in the practise of organisations and members merging their resources, expertise, and skills to accomplish common goals or objectives. 

After relocating to Perth, I pursued a career transition and spent five years in the hospitality industry as a venue manager, director, and proprietor of bars and restaurants.  As a result of my recent involvement as an ERP coordinator, I have come across an ERP solution that I personally would have used at the venues under my supervision. My final experience as a Venue Manager for the CEO institute - Sky Lounge (East Perth) was sufficient to convince me that a change was necessary. My team and I operated the venue using up to eight distinct, outdated and costly software applications! 

The vast majority of food and beverage businesses with which I regularly speak require an enterprise resource planning system that is more cost-effective and integrates a greater number of all the functions needed in the hospitality sector.
